In the after­math of Bre­xit, Ales­san­dro tra­vel­led to the UK to docu­ment a coun­try grap­pling with poli­ti­cal divi­sion and social uncer­tain­ty. What began as a respon­se to Bre­xit gra­dual­ly ope­ned into a broa­der look at eve­ry­day life across dif­fe­rent com­mu­ni­ties, whe­re con­ver­sa­tions often cir­cled around a shared sen­se of tired­ness rather than firm poli­ti­cal posi­tions.

Throu­gh por­trai­ts, land­sca­pes, and eve­ry­day momen­ts, the pro­ject explo­res a coun­try in tran­si­tion, whe­re the pro­mi­ses of the past intert­wi­ne with the uncer­tain­ties of the pre­sent.

Alex Zobo­li pho­to­gra­phed cities and towns mar­ked by cri­sis, com­mu­ni­ties sustai­ned by mutual soli­da­ri­ty, and pla­ces that con­ti­nue to shi­ne even when the light seems to be mis­sing.
